Well when you’re booting up and android says “optimizing”, it’s basically making your apps run faster. the long story is that when an apk file is added to your android system, it’s not actually stored that way.. "android is upgrading, and afterwards it came optimizing application 1 of 158", later came as starting apps then tecno will come and the upgrading starts again for more than 24 hours. i need a solution to stop it and have access to the phone. i cant do anything with the phone so please give me the right solution. I started getting this android is starting....optimizing apps 1 of 1. after reading this thread, i found the problem to be zedge. i've used this app for about 6 years, then a recent forced update started causing the error, making my phone take about 15 minutes to boot. i uninstalled zedge and got rid of the problem..
1) i am using the phone from last 1.5 years but from 21st april 2018. i got the following message android is starting optimizing app 1 of 1 and took 15 to 20 min. to start. which is very time cousuming and i do format my device but it will not solve the issue please povide us the solution..
