Recently, many users reporting that there is a message saying “android is starting… optimizing app 1 of 1” on their android devices. obviously it’s not life and death, but it’s quite annoying to have to wait 10 minutes for every reboot.. Hey, everytime i reboot my sgv i get the android is optimizing apps 1 of 50. then it counts down and says complete. however this process takes like 3 mins or so.. Optimizing app 1 of 1 this is what i am seeing on my tablet after i press the power button to turn it on. it takes 6 minutes before this disappears and i am able to use my tablet.. Your question can actually be interpreted a couple of ways: (1) your device is displaying “optimizing apps” on every boot; or (2) the “optimizing apps” notification is displaying after an update or a factory data reset. in any event, i'll try and answer this question under either scenario..
